Culture of Foot Shrinks in China

About a thousand years ago, the foot begins discouraging culture in China. This culture is the first characteristic of the upper classes and only the rich who can run this culture. Why? Because women with small feet can only do a little work and they should be helped when doing household chores everyday.

The main purpose of discouraging the culture of this leg is to make feet stop growing so that these women will have small feet, known as the lotus feet. Culture was banned in 1911, but still there are some women who still runs this culture until 1949, when China was under the leadership of Mao Zedong.
