Myths and Beliefs about Shoes

Almost every culture in the world have myths and beliefs about footwear. In China, there are several myths about the shoes that grow and practiced until today. Chinese society usually make up their children by using a shoe with a wild animal motif to frighten evil spirits. The Chinese community also believes that throws red shoes belonging to the bride on the roof at the time of the wedding party will make the domestic life of the married couple to be full of love and harmony.

We can also find the myth about the other shoe that grows in other parts of the world such as Europe, where the shoe is usually used as a talisman in the house to protect the house from evil spirits.
